Chaparral Electronics Inc.

Chaparral Electronics Inc. was formed in 1974 and has always been a highly respected Manufacturers Representative organization.    We cover the territory of Arizona; New Mexico, Nevada and El Paso Texas, (known as “Territory 23A” by the “Manufacturers Association of Agents” or “MANA”) We also cover Nogales in the County of Sonora, Mexico. We are proud of the fact that we are full members of “MANA” today.

Anne Challinor purchased Chaparral Electronics, Inc; outright in 1999

Anne, with her husband Brian are Directors and Officers of this Mesa, Arizona based “C” Corporation.      We have 4 Offices today and 5 outside sales personnel, all of whom are devoted to both our customers and our Principals throughout this Southwestern territory.

Brian is the Statutory Agent and President for Chaparral and he is also assigned a number of specific accounts to call upon within the State of Arizona.

Eric Christensen is our Area Manager and FAE. Prior to joining Chaparral, he had extensive experience in the electronics world as the Vice President of Engineering for one of Chaparral’s Principals, who we still proudly represent today.

Bill Turner is our Area Manager for New Mexico and El Paso Texas, covering all accounts in this assigned territory from his office in Cloudcroft NM that is approximately 65 miles away from El Paso itself.

Our operating philosophy is that by providing the Principals that we work for with the finest representation possible, we will in turn generate substantial increases in sales and profits for them and also commissions for Chaparral. Our goal is to do this in a sustained and consistent manner.   To achieve this requires expertise and success in several separate and yet corresponding areas:

1) Customer identification and knowledge.

                                    2) In depth Product/s knowledge.

                                    3) Extensive knowledge of the Principal.

                                    4) Detailed competitor’s knowledge.

                                    5) Excellent Distributor relationships and liaison.

Whenever and wherever procurement will be through distribution, it is our dedicated responsibility to maintain superb and 100% fair relationships, with all competing franchised Distributors.     This avoids undue conflicts and it ensures a positive attitude on the part of the Distributor, towards the Principal and to us at all times.     We also support our distribution base to the very best of our abilities.

With the growth of Contract Manufacturers (we represent one of the best) Triad Electronic Technologies of Phoenix, Arizona; as well as this region’s technical community as a whole, we find the inclusion of distribution in our sales efforts, to be ever increasing in size and significance.

Understanding a Principal's strengths, desired direction and people, are we believe to be the key requirements towards increasing profits and continuing superb relationships. We also work best with Principals who are patient, supportive and understanding in recognizing the fact that “Design In” cycles may take more than 2 years to accomplish or complete sometimes.

Over the years, working to refine and polish this business philosophy has given Chaparral Electronics Inc; a reputation for honesty, reliability and follow-through with customers, Principals and Distributors, that can be demonstrated throughout the whole of our territory.

Respectfully,

The Chaparral Electronics Team of professional Representatives
