Macintosh Users:

Some of the files on this site which are available for download (homework, test reviews, and some handouts) are saved in RTF, or Rich Text Format, which is a universally understood (usually) file format which most word processors (Works, Word Perfect, Word, etc) understand. If these files are not opening on your MAC computer, you need to do the following:

The "RTF Format problem" is a setting issue of your Internet Explorer fixed by Preferences/File Helpers/Rich Text Format.rtf which you can open and then set the"File Handling" perimeter to "View with Application" rather than the incorrect "View with Plug-in" setting it is set-up with by default. Now the RTF documents, which were created in WORD, should correctly open straight into Word (or whatever word processing program you use).

Please Note: I'm not a Mac expert. These instructions were given to me by a father of one of my students who figured out how to download the files on their Mac. If it still doesn't work after this, ask your Mac dealer how to fix the problem.
