An opportunity to improve your grade in Chemistry!

If you enter the Santa Barbara County Science Fair and your project wins Grand Prize, you can change your letter grade in chemistry to an A+ in the term of your choice.

If your project wins 1st place or a gold medal* (up to 4 golds are awarded in each division) in either the life science or physical science division, you can raise your letter grade in chemistry a whole letter grade higher in the term of your choice. For example, a B+ would be raised to an A+ in the term of your choice.

*Note: Due to changes in the Fair, in the 2005 Science Fair all medal winners (Gold, Silver, & Bronze) are elligible for a grade change as long as they submit the form to Mr. Bausback by Friday, May 5, 2006)

Important! To qualify for this, you must fill out and return the Grade Change Application to Mr. Bausback within 14 days of the Santa Barbara County Science Fair Awards Ceremony. This deadline is absolute. There are no exceptions, so return your application on time.
