We had a lovely time at Star's party, but I didn't get any pictures.  What happens at Star's stays at Stars.  and so.. on to White Hart!

Well.. ok.  First we did stop at this Cheese place in Oceola.

a cheesy shop

Here's the sign to prove it.  It was a cool little store, quite a bit like all theother little stores that you can stop at as you go traveling. This one was a bit more cheesy though, and they even sold Osoeola Cheese WATER!
fuzzy

And across the street was Fuzzy's Bait Booze.  I don't know if he meant bait and booze, or if it was booze made from bait, or if it was booze FOR bait.  I didn't really want to ask.
Star!
And of course, STAR!  Where would I be without Star? I'd be Starless, of course.

And then.... ON TO THE FIRE!  Um.. FAIRE!  (It was very hot and humid)

Jenny

We go there, after driving 1/2 a mile up Tractor roads.  You know.  Those roads where you're glad you're driving a jeep, then all of a sudden you realize you're driving a Mini Van and you're going Whoo Whoo Whoo over every bump and rut in the road.  Seriously, it wasn't bad and reminded me of the times with my grandad at his farm.  Add to that but this is the sight that we met - Jenny!  I think she was as surprised as we were to see her.

Star n friends

Now, I've always been terrible with names. So here I see....umm.. er.... Star! and .. umm.. I dunno!  But they were lovely women folk anyway, and had I been truly at my Pocketest, I would have made mention that the one in the middle looked like the White Queen in Alice down the rabbit hole, cept the character wasn't the White Queen, she was the Red Queen and this lady looked ever so much better

drake

For some obvious reason (check out the codpiece) Sir Francis Drake decided to attach himself to Sherry.  Awwwww. Grizelda made a new friend.
Sherry at Counter

This is an owl.  This is a baby owl.  This is a baby owl saying "Piss off, I'm sleeping"  Awww.  and they are sooo cute until they fly at you with talons outstretched going for your eyeballs!
Pie Pie, me oh my.

And, though I could be wrong, I suspect this is Tristan the redtailed hawk.  I could be wrong.  I've never been good with names, but I never forget a face... er... beak.
clock detail

Cool Bear.  Or.. HOT bear!  It was humid, it was sticky, it was humid.  The Bear and the man the bear ate were both very hot, I would assume.  It was bearable, though..
Amy
What more can be said about this picture?  She was cute, she was in costume, she was Amy.  Hmm.. yeah, there's more that could be said about this picture.  But I won't.
Bear hug

A bear hug.  yeah, there's a lot of bright fuzzy stuff called bad contrast on some of this pictures. Grrr digital.  Grrr. sunny days without shade.
Bruce hug

Another bear hug.  Bruce was actually the second or third person to see us at the faire, after Jenny and April... I think.  I could be wrong.  I never forget a beak, but the names sometimes escape me.

The court

Her Majesty's court.
Friggin hot. Africa hot. Tarzan couldn't take such heat.  The only way you could get me to wear those costumes was if I didn't.  HOT.

Details of the queen
Her Majesty.  Who else?

Father and child

I had to take this picture. It was a moral imperative because it was just so darn natural to see a father and son as it may have been 300 years ago.   This was taken as the two were watching Queens Gamboni... Er Gambit perform.  The boy is so Cute.  A few moments later, the boy was wearing his father's hat and being tossed into the air, laughing  Yep, it was an AWWWWWW moment for me.
nancy and dulcimer

Lady Nancy at the Dulcimer.  Wonderful Lilt, wonderful banging away with the hammers.  Reminded me a bit o' me old life, scallywagin' away amongst the fairy folk.
cedric

Cedric the Entertainer.. no... Wait!  It was Cedric the Fiddler.. no.. that's not it.  Cedric the BARD!  Yeah.. that's it.  Hell of a show.  I laughed, I sang, I made fun of him.  And he made fun of me.  First. Nyaah.
cedric again

The only thing this picture made me think of is that Gasex will fix this look.  Once again, Folks, Cedric the BARD!  Let's give him a round of applause and don't forget to buy a CD and give the Bard some whiskey.
