Baumgardner
- My earliest association with the family annals occurred
in 1904, when Father permitted me to accompany him upon a
visit, while we were in St. Louis, to Mrs. Margaret
Baumgardner Storm, a first cousin of his father and
nearly ninety years of age. I made a stenographic report
of the interview which discussed the history of the
family at great length. I still retina my report of the
interview. Mrs. Storm was a granddaughter of Jacob
Baumgardner, Sr., and the daughter of Samuel Baumgardner.
