This performance car started out as a 1977 Datsun 280Z. Johns Cars replaced the straight six with a `98 Camaro LS1 and matching T56 6-speed transmission. This 350 cid, all aluminum V8 with custom programming by ChipsByAl wakes up the drivetrain. An `88 Turbo 300ZX R200 LSD differential with 3.70 gears finish out the rear. The chassis was upgraded with Nissan's European springs, urethane bushings and KYB struts. It now rides on Center Line Trident II wheels and Yokohama S306 tires. Whoa comes from a Toyota brake upgrade. It was recently painted with `97 Cadillac pearl red highlighted with a white racing stripe. Ground effects and the mirror kit are from Motorsport Auto. A Pioneer KEH-4600 stereo system and leather seats compliment the interior. |
