Step#1 of ChristianArmour.net

This website is devoted to helping Christians properly defend their faith.
"For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist" (LUKE 21:15)

The very first step any Christian must take in understanding and defending their faith is to actually read The Bible!  Believe it or not, The Holy Bible is quite possibly the most famous "best seller" of all time, yet it is rarely read by most people.  The Holy Bible is the written Word Of God and the primary source of information regarding the Christian Faith.  Even if you already own a Bible, you might be surprised to learn that The Word, in it's entirety and in every version and translation, is available online for your reading pleasure. Best of all, it's absolutely free!  Just as Christians use The Bible to quote scripture, so too does the Atheist or the non-believer use The Word Of God to confuse or belittle the ignorant.  Don't be caught without your Armour!  Click on these links and bookmark them in your browser:

"For every verse, see the interlinear Hebrew / Greek (including the Septuagint)
Also, nine English translations plus the Latin Vulgate. Additionally,
The Blue Letter Bible has obtained a 1653 Polyglot Bible with ancient Bible texts in Hebrew (interlinear with Latin),
Samaritan, Greek, Chaldee, Syriac, Arabic, Ethiopic, and Persic."

The 66 Books which together make up The Holy Bible are meant to be read and understood as a whole.  A favorite trick of the Atheist or non-believer is to quote a single line or verse out of context and then use it in an attempt to "prove" their erroneous conclusions.  Another one of their tricks is to suggest that The Bible, throughout it's history and many translations, has had some crucial words or phrases lost, added, or omitted.  You, however, now know better!  Christians have nothing to hide, and The Holy Bible (in all of it's translations since it was first written) is your very first piece of Christian Armour.  Use these tools to cross check any quoted verses of disbelievers, and read the commentaries provided to learn the true meaning of the words.  Read the facts of how the texts were transcribed and disseminated.
