Step#3 of ChristianArmour.net

This website is devoted to helping Christians properly defend their faith.
"For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist" (LUKE 21:15)

The third step any Christian must take in understanding and defending their faith is learning how to answer the common "everyday" questions presented to them by others.   Sometimes these questions are really quite innocent, such as those a young child might pose.  A favorite trick of the Atheists and non-believers, however,  is to ask you questions they think you don't know or can't answer.   As far as they are concerned, if you are supposedly a "Christian" and you can't answer them, then the entire Christian Faith is false!  If you have followed Steps #1, and #2 however, then you already know what The Bible says,  and you already know what some "false Christian" groups say.   Now it is time for you to "dig your heels in" and learn the answers to some tougher faith challenges.  The actual term for this is "Apologetics".  The Dictionary defines this word as  -
"#1. The branch of theology that is concerned with defending or proving the truth of Christian doctrines" and
"#2. Formal argumentation in defense of something, such as a position or system. "
There are quite a few resources available online to help you learn how to respond to the "innocents" and the disbelievers alike.  Here are a just a couple of them for you to get started:

http://www.christiananswers.net/
"A mega-site providing biblical answers to contemporary questions
for all ages and nationalities with over 30 thousand files"

http://www.rbc.org
"An old rumor has it that "the good book" is a library of contradictions. It is said by some that the real genius
of this bestseller is that, like other successful "fortune tellers," it covers its predictions with enough broad, obscure,
and contradictory statements to be able to hide in the tangle. But is that really the truth about the Bible?
Or is there some way to resolve its alleged contradictions? We offer the following pages to you with the confidence
that the more of the Bible you understand, the less you will wonder about its overall unity, consistency, and reliability."

Between those two sites, you should be able to satisfy the curiosity or the "challenge" of any ill prepared Atheist or non-believer.  Do not, however,  become too content in thinking that "simple answers" and pure honesty alone will get you out of a really tough situation.  In fact, you may one day find yourself confronted by a seemingly overwhelming challenge.  Perhaps you have already found yourself in just such a predicament and that is why you are here?  Well, have faith in The Lord and His Word because we are moving on to strengthen your knowledge!  Congratulate yourself for having acquired yet another piece of Christian Armour and click the SWORD below to move on to Step #4 - The Complete Suit!
