At Reels, Rogues, and Romance that reality is closer than fans might expect. Sharon Sala, New York Times Best Selling Author will be on hand to auction off a chance for the winners’ name to appear in her next book. “The opportunity for your name to be in a best-selling romance novel is pretty exciting, even for people who aren’t into the genre,” says director Charley Reeves.
Even more exciting is the presence of one of the most photographed cover models, CJ Hollenbach. Fabio may be the most well known, but the fantastic figures who embody the story on the cover is what sells books in the romance industry. Finneran and Reeves spent a great deal of time documenting the men who model and their annual competition to achieve the title of Mr. Romance during the annual convention. In another show of support for the filmmakers, CJ Hollenbach will auction off a Harlequin worthy kiss to the winner during the event.
