"My Coconut Moon rises with a gentle but brilliant tropical glow.   While some think it only happens in the tropics when the moon is full, I have seen her take on many shapes in many different places.  One thing is for sure, she has been with me throughout my travels.  This album chronicles my many adventures along the extraordinary Gulf Coast of the United States.  From the Creole ladies in the back room kitchens of New Orleans who taught me what real gumbo is , to the coral reefs of Key West with their sharks, 'cudas, and relaxed way of life.  Inbetween, I have experienced the solitude of Pensacola, the flights out over the Gulf in that old war plane, the beautiful beaches and friendly folks of Destin, the rich scallop beds of Steinhatchee, and the majestic beauty of Captiva Island.  Many of these expereinces and adventures can only be described in song.  I hope you enjoy this!"
