Churchland Baptist Church called Dan Koger to serve as Minister of Faith Formation on June 29, 2003. He began in ministry among us in mid-August, 2003.

Dan and his wife, Leslie, have two children, Kristen and Jacob. Dan's early faith formation was in Blackberry Baptist Church, Bassett, Virginia, and the same congregation that ordained him in December, 1985. In addition to his formal education, he has studied at Pendle Hill, a Quaker community in Wallingford, PA; and at the Shalem Institute for Spiritual Formation and Contemplative Spirituality, in Bethesda, MD

Dan's Education includes:

	Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, M.Div. in Religious Education, 1983
	Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary, Doctor of Education, 1990

He has served:
