The music ministry at Churchland Baptist Church is directed by Dr. Dennis R. Price. The music ministry is a major component of and contributor to the worship experience at Churchland Baptist. Several groups comprise the music ministry, and if you are interested in participating in any of these groups, please contact Dr. Price at 484-2351 (church) or 483-2874 (home).

The Chancel Choir sings in the Sunday morning worship service, including anthems and service music,   as well as leading congregational singing. Also, they provide special music programs for Christmas Choral Worship, Christmas Lovefeast on Christmas Eve, the Maundy Thursday Service, Summer Choir Concert, and several other choral presentations during the year.

The Adult Handbell Choir provides adults with unique musical experiences and many opportunities to participate in worship leadership. The Adult Handbell Choir rings three octaves of handbells. Some members of this Handbell Choir sing in the Chancel Choir as well.

The Youth / Young Adult Handbell Choir provides young people with their own unique musical experiences and many opportunities to participate in worship leadership.   This handbell choir also rings four octaves of handbells.

The Children's Choir gives children Kindergarten through 3rd Grade their first chance to participate in worship through music. The children rehearse periodically throughout the year for special performances during worship.

As further enrichment of worship experiences at Churchland Baptist Church, the Concert Series is a special series of usually three to four concerts per year by a variety of performers/performing groups.
