Youth Ministry

The youth ministry of Churchland Baptist Church is led by the Youth Minister and the Youth Support Committee. This committee is composed of adults and youth who help plan and execute youth activities.

The mission of CBC's youth ministry is to build a community in which we encourage youth to encounter Christ in each other and in their action. We strive to nurture the formation of the whole Christian- the head so as to know Christ; the heart so as to love Christ; and the hands as to serve Christ.

In addition to Sunday School and Sunday morning worship, we have several special youth activities.

Sunday Night Youth Fellowships	Sundays 6:00-8:30pm	Periodic events usually once/month. Held in church members' homes.
Youth Disciple Life	Sundays 5:00pm	Weekly
Passport Mission Camp	Each summer	A week-long mission camp held in various locations (usually a college campus). Youth join others from across the United States in bible study, worship, and hands-on mission projects, as well as lots of fun and recreation.
Youth Retreat	Each winter	Weekend youth trip to a nearby camp/retreat center. Bible study and worship combined with outdoor and indoor recreation and group-building activities.
Special Events	Periodically	Christmas concerts, Kings Dominion, Busch Gardens, Water Country, lock-ins, beach trips, bowling, and other fun activities to encourage fellowship and outreach.
