NOW INTERVIEWING

I have been interviewing but have not accepted a position yet. I prefer a network position with current Cisco devices and a redundant topology. Nexus switches are a plus.

PHOENIX CISCO PROFESSIONALS

I am the owner of the Phoenix Cisco Professionals LinkedIn group. We are holding our next monthly meeting on Wed January 6 (first Wed of the month) from 5 to 7pm at "Cheeburgers Cheeburgers" at Tempe Marketplace on Tempe Lake. It is located at the East end right next to the Harkins Tempe Marketplace 16 theater. I will be wearing a yellow ASU polo and a maroon ASU hat. All current and potential group members are invited to attend. Dedicated to exchanging Cisco position information, continuing education, and networking. Further details in LinkedIn. You can also email me for further information. I look forward to meeting you all.

CURRENT LAB PROJECTS

Setting up a multitude of Cisco router and switch configurations in my personal lab to practice setups. Concentrating on the 100 to 500 node Cisco specification.

VOLUNTEER PROJECTS

I have been using Volunteer Match to find organizations that need network professionals to help their non-profit. Take a look at the Volunteer Match website if you have any free time. You too may be able to contribute your particular expertise to the less fortunate, and foster good will towards the United States.

The International Professors Project is a non-profit global network of professors who have begun working as "Academic Citizens of the World" on university campuses in developing countries around the world. I spoke with Mr. Ron Krate, Founding CEO of IPP, and am now a global WAN and LAN development resource.

iT Gets Better is dedicated to creativity bridging the technology gap between youth and parents while educating and promoting best practices in the area of information technology. I am presently talking with them about creating networking content for students interested in networking.
