The Arkham Mourners Society is the only accredited group of professional mourners on the eastern seaboard. This photo was taken of them in 1912.

The Scientist's Wing has always been popular, and is outfitted with one of the most complete and up-to-date laboratories in the United States. Many unusual discoveries have been made there.
The Asylum remains a popular attraction, and many celebrities have "taken the cure."
It is operated thru public endowments, including substantial donations from Bruce Wayne and the Vlad Tepes Fund.

Simon and Wilbur Griswold were founders of Griswold Mortuary in 1918. All services are offered, including burial, cremation, complete incineration, and taxidermy.
