The Snerd family were a bit surprised to meet their cousin, Gwendolyn Snerd, when she was hired as a guest lecturer at Miskatonic University.
Miss Snerd's lecture series on "Impossible Angles in Physics" was quite a success.

Mazie Hicks was selected to wear the Black Jewel of Nyarlathotep for her Temple Dance in 1927.
Of course, by the end of the Dance, the Jewel had sucked the life-force from Mazie to such a degree that the lovely 22 year old girl became a 95 year old crone within one half hour.
She then degenerated into a pile of dust and bone splinters on the floor.
It was quite amusing.

As Mrs. Slothurn tended towards cannibalism, and taught her children the same, Harold became a bit nervous that they were fattening him up.
He fooled them, however.

One afternoon, he hiccuped and turned himself inside out.

William W. Williams worked in the Arkham Ice Plant until he slipped one afternoon and was frozen into a solid block of ice.
This was viewed as a wonderful opportunity for advertising by the company, so they have kept him on display in their lobby ever since.

Winston L. Quince maintained that his "Electrical Cage" would turn his body invisible.
After twenty-three years of research, he sat himself inside it, turned on the power, and was immediately fried to a small, blackened cinder.
