Buddy1.jpg (39360 bytes) Buddy is a handsome red and white Mal Husky mix with blue eyes. He is being placed by Siberian Husky Rescue of NM. Probably between 6 and 7 years old, and around 95 lbs he's a special boy. He loves to talk, and just hang out around people and other dogs. Believe it or not this guy can make it over a four foot fence, but a five foot fence would probably keep him in. Husky rescue tells us that Buddy has an amazing temperament, seems to be great with children, other dogs, and probably would do just fine with cats. One look at this handsome guy and you will have to have him! Call Pia at (505) 331-3335 or email at piacash@aol.com for more information. This dog has not been evaluated by Alaskan Malamute rescue. buddy3.jpg (39150 bytes)
Kiana1.jpg (146912 bytes) Kiana Sweet, loving, quiet, mal mix on the small side and undernourished at 45-50 pounds. She is about 2 years old and started life as an outside dog.

She loves being inside, learns fast and is eager to please. At this time she is a little timid and more comfortable with women, it takes a bit longer to warm up to men. Your patience will be rewarded as this sweetie becomes your life long friend.

Kiana has been ADOPTED

Dakota is an older dog who needs a permanent home.  We estimate him to be about 8 years old.  He was rescued from the county dump by a kind-hearted elderly lady who became ill and couldn’t take care of him any longer.  He is currently safe with a foster family but he needs a home of his own.  He is a big boy who may suffer from hypothyroidism.  He doesn’t bark but he is very vocal and communicates his wants and needs with heartfelt woo-woos.  He needs to be an indoor dog and he is quite content to lie on the floor of whatever room his person is in at the moment.  He doesn’t wander or try to escape from his pen when he is put outside but he makes it clear that he prefers to be inside and that he likes attention.  He gets along well with other dogs and cats, and he spent a day with a 2 year old and seemed fine with that too.  He does show fear when other dogs bark, probably because he was harassed by the pack of feral dogs at the dump before being removed from there.  He is a very easy-going and adaptable dog who will bring a lot of love to your life.  If you are interested in adopting Dakota please email malamuterescue@aiznet.com or call 505-678-3733.
