Well it is with a heavy heart that I must announce that we are taking a break from competition. With the price of meat and gas, along with the limited feedback received for the scoring and judging, we have decided that our money can be better spent elsewhere. We will continue to cook for events, catering and our usual charity functions, along with for friends and family.

License to Grill is my competition BBQ team I formed in the late summer of 2004, we are competing in KCBS sanctioned events around the Midwest and have had great time doing it. On the pages to your left we have listed photos and results of some of our events.
I got a ton of ideas and hints from the folks at the BBQ Forum, and would encourage anyone looking for ideas on BBQ or cooking fun to visit the site and hang around, you will be amazed at the versatility and helpfulness of everyone there.
