Clayton Stoolball Club play at Clayton Green, Underhill Lane, Clayton, Hassocks. We have the most beautiful views of the Sussex Downs and the famous windmills Jack and Jill

WHAT DAY AND TIME :-

Clayton play on Tuesdays and Thursday evenings at 6.30pm, Depending if the weather ok! Also we play away at the opponents field according to the fixtures for 2007.Which could be any where from Horsed Keynes to Partridge Green to Hurstpierpoint a wide range for the central league.

EQUIPMENT :-

Stoolball is very similar to the game of cricket but we have a different shape bat and two wickets at either end rather than stumps. The ball is slightly smaller than a cricket ball and is coloured white. We also have 8 balls in the over rather than 6.We have a boundary like cricket but we have flags around the boundary so no cheating goes on!!
