 Captain:- Claire is our captain for this season 2006, she has been playing for Clayton since she was 10 yrs old, following in the foot steps of her Nan (Mrs Gladys Anderton ) and mum (Pauline Taylor) |
 Vice captain:- Sarah (Raa Raa) Draper, is our vice captain for this season, she has been playing stoolball for Clayton since she was 10yrs old, she also played county for the under 21's. She is secretary to Central league. |
 Mandy is also another player that has been playing the Sussex game since she was 10yrs old, she has been known to play a game or two for central in a county match, under 21's and then for the seniors . |
 Kristi
has been playing stoolball for Clayton since she was 10 years old starting
in the juniors then proceeded to the senior team. She has three children and
juggles a busy life, she also follows in her mums foot steps. (Sue Pitt). |
 Cindy
has been playing for Clayton for 16 years to present day, she is our
secretary and also attends all county meetings, Cindy played for our juniors
and was their captain for a couple of seasons and also played for county
when she was a junior but now scores for the county seniors. |
 Sue started playing for Clayton when she was 9 years old, starting in the junior team then moving up to the senior team. She was a brilliant captain for 5 years from season 2000 to 2005, she has a great batting arm and is our best and only back stop (thank goodness for those shin pads!). |
 Pauline
been playing for nearly 48 years, she was introduced to stoolball by her mum
(Mrs Gladys Anderton) who was still playing when she was 60 years old. She
was captain from 1980 to 1993 and is our longest serving captain to date,
and has now been appointed the post of chairman for Clayton. |
 Di Has been with us now for quite a while, she has a good batting arm on her, she also is a great fast/slow bowler as many have found out! We all wouldn't want to face her bowling! great player. She also play's for Central in county games |
 Stella
is our longest serving player and still plays for us,She is our secret
weapon! Stella has been known to have a bowl and do very well at that. She
keeps hold of the money! Very good treasurer. Thanks Stella. |
 Lesley has been playing Stoolball since she was 7/8 years old, but joined Clayton in 1989 and is playing for us still, she is another one of our bowlers. |

 Leonie has been playing for our senior team for just over a year now, she is an asset to the team, at only 14 & a half she has nerves of steel to field in wicket slip against the big hitters of other teams. She follows in her mums footsteps to. (Di Irwin). |
 Karen
has been playing Stoolball since she was 7 years old, she played for Adastra
juniors and Seniors, also for Cuckfield for one season. She joined Clayton
about 5 years a go and she is doing well. Good throwing arm for long
boundaries |
