CL Combat = Control Line Combat
A competitive event for small flying wing airplanes, chasing each other around, the object being to cut a
ribbon shaped banner called a streamer. It is attached to the airplane with a 5ft string.
Click here for other pictures. And see my electric park flyers.
Note:
red streamer attached by string to airplane and laying on the ground. The object
in the event is to cut the streamer off. The planes fly approximately 120 mph.
And are very maneuverable.

This sight you have to see if your interested in control line combat. It has almost everything you would want to know.
Check it out!
These
three pictures are in sequence. The first is is the plane being fueled and prepared
for the start.
The matches are five minutes in duration and you get a point for every second your in the air. You also get 100 points for every cut you make on the streamer pulled behind the plane. You can see the black streamer in the third picture. If there is a collision between the planes that leave either plane unflyable the match ends and the person with the most points at that time wins that match. So it is very important to be in the air first and start accumulating points. Thus the second picture my crew waiting for the "GO" so they can start and try to get me in the air first.

These
pictures were taken by Howard Rush a gentleman from Seattle, and long time

Maywald. And is held every August. A very fun and well ran event.
