Introduction

Hello my name is Sharon Hatcher. I live in North  Central Florida.

My family includes dear hubby (Tom) and our long coat Chihuahuas.

Tom has been my constant supporter. He is there to cheer me on when we have had a good, or not so good training session or show. He looks after the fur kids while I'm out training or showing. He calls that ice cream time.

My first interest in Chihuahua's came when I was a young girl at my uncles house.

My showing days started with Ginger. She was a fawn long coat. We started our loving team by going to basic obedience classes. That eventually lead to the show ring. Ginger and I trained and competed in the obedience ring for the next six years.

Along the way earned our American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen (CGC), Companion Dog Excellent (CDX), United Kennel Club Companion Dog (U-CD), World Wide Companion Dog (WW-CD) titles. In our first year of showing Ginger ranked in the First and Foremost Obedience, and Delaney System rankings. We competed for several years at DOCOF (Dog Obedience Clubs OF Florida) state championship for the MADTA team. Ginger and I were matching in the AKC Utility class (UD) when she crossed over Rainbow Bridge in 1999. She is gone but never forgotten. She taught me the meaning of teamwork, patience and perseverance.

I belong to the following clubs:
Marion Alachua Dog Training Assoc. (MADTA): Served on the Board, Treasurer, Trophies and DOCOF team member.
Greater Gainesville Dog Fanciers Assoc. (GGDFA): Served as a Board Member
Tampa Bay Chihuahua Club (TBCC)
Toy Dog Of Central Florida (TDCCF): All toy DOCOF team member.
Chihuahua Club Of America (CCA)

I am committed to providing a safe and loving home for my Chihuahuas.
They are my pets first and show dogs second.

When we show or train. We are a team. I use positive motivation and clicker training. I am in no hurry to enter the show ring.

It is my responsibility to keep my dogs safe in and out of the show ring.
