D e s c r i p t i o n

Joel was found in alone in a volcano unconscious and taken out to be taken care of.  Sarralyn discovered him and gave him a name, as well as some clothes to boot.  He is skilled in his own form of combat, and he is skilled with wielding the sword Masamune.  When in trouble he has been known to go berserk and destroy everything around him with massive fire shooting techniques.  He can lead people around like a leader, but when he finds himself in a position where one of his peers is better than him and capable of teaching him something he turns into a faithful follower.

Sarralyn

Role: Joel's tutor

D e s c r i p t i o n

Sarralyn is a normal girl of the city of Traquo, but she is also the daughter of the city mayor.  She helps out when she finds someone in need of a hand, but she also gets in trouble when trouble is to be had.  She is not a fighter like Joel is.  She attends school on a regular basis and finds herself the center of the boys' attention, but she has more problems with them being pushy and distasteful than caring and respectful.  Under her bright and cheery surface she was about to give up hope finding happiness until she ran into Joel.

Koichi

D e s c r i p t i o n

Koichi left his family to go under apprenticeship with a sword master at the age of eight.  When his teacher deemed his skills sharp he left to acquire a job as a guard at the castle of Fonan-Kal, where his rank quickly increased to one of the close royal guards of the throne.  When the king adopted a girl to be his new daughter, Koichi became her body guard, servant, and defensive teacher.  He takes many things seriously and personally, and he has a nose for monsters and legendary treasures.

Celia

Role: Princess of Fonan'Kal

D e s c r i p t i o n

Celia is the newly adopted princess of Fonan'Kal castle.  Like Joel, she does not know where she truly came from.  She spends her time quietly around her castle as her father tutors her in the ways of royalty.  She is protected by the skilled young fighter, Koichi.  Many seek her out for marriage and power over the throne, but she has been uncertain about the methods of settlement used by her peers.  Celia has been known to use healing abilities beyond any natural knowledge when she is injured.

Ryan

Role: Guardian of the Mind

D e s c r i p t i o n

Ryan is a traveler who roams the world seeking enlightenment and an extra boost of power.  He is very keen and egotistical about his brain power, being the Guardian of the Mind.  When there is a question to be asked, Ryan will always be the first to take a shot at answering it.  He finds Joel in hopes of taking him to reunite him with his past and his family, as well as teach him some old tricks.  He always seems to ramble on about unlocking ultimate powers.

Lynn

Role: Restaurant Waitress

Specialties: Juggling, Cooking, City Lore, Stealth(?)

D e s c r i p t i o n

Lynn is your typical city girl from the city Choajoi.  She lives under the pressure of a gang of criminals who have taken over her city over time.  She tries to keep everyone's minds off of the depression by entertaining them with her juggling acts in the restaurant she works in.  These are no common juggling toys, though, as they can be converted into sharp and flaming weapons as she needs them, as if throwing steel hoops at the bad guy isn't enough for starters.  The only things keeping her down in life is how small she is for her age, and how small she is for her age.  She, like many other people, dreads the Guardian race.

Stephanie

Role: Fighter in Training

Specialties: Swordplay, Dual Sword Art,  Martial Arts, Monster Lore

D e s c r i p t i o n

Stephanie is a student of Master, just like Koichi was.  She spends her time practicing her form and attack methods, as well as developing new skills.  She also helps Master in his times of need in his old age.  Her attitude and ego much resemble that of Koichi himself, showing how the training methods of Master transforms his students from innocent child into brutal killing machines with a vengeance.  Stephanie's face marks show her heritage from her home town in the Old World.

David

Role: Unknown Property

Specialties: Pole Arm Mastery, Martial Arts, Guarshokha, Enhanced Speed

D e s c r i p t i o n

David is the star fighter of the Argund fighting arena.  He fights to provide treasure hunters a very slim to none chance to gain access to a tower holding wish-granting treasures.  He has collected many fans through his many years of special fighting performances, and he is not afraid to strut his stuff for the many ladies of the world.  He is a known Guardian in the world, however he will not reveal his true powers to unworthy opponents.  This does not stop him from expressing his lightning fast speeds out in the open as well as his other special fighting techniques.  David is well known for his Split Punch attack, which converts the total amount of any damage he takes in battle into an even more devastating single punch.

D e s c r i p t i o n

Your every day school bullies, with a vengeance.  They are known for setting new comers, and anyone else who thinks they're better than they are, in their place.  This group of youngsters work together in a triad when traveling around in their close bonds of friendship, and they each specialize in something of their own to get around.  They first encounter Joel as the new kid in town at Traquo and try picking a fight with them.  Soon after going one-on-one with Joel and finding out that he is no match for him, he realizes what he's up against and plays innocent with the police.  Though they will do whatever they can to achieve success, they each also sacrificed something important in order to gain heightened mortal powers.

Zephelear

The King of Monsters

Specialties: Disguise, Terror, Infinite Knowledge, Monster kin

D e s c r i p t i o n

The age-old, yet still full of charisma, king of monsters is able to disguise himself in a humanly fashion in order to persuade the people of the world to get what he is looking for.  He understands that senseless killing is not necessary unless he is declined one time.  When severely injured, Zephelear is able to regenerate himself through his wounds that brings out a form of a monster.  He seems to only travel the medieval world to and from each major site searching for something.  He should not be confused with the Guardians created by the gods.

Ro-Ten

The Earth Guardian

Specialties: Earth Magic, Guarshokha

D e s c r i p t i o n

He carries an unearthly grudge for the one named Zareon for his previous death.  It has taken priority over everything else in his life, and he has been known to side with anyone for any reason in order to succeed.  This includes helping his sworn enemies acquire the pieces of forbidden armor of Hades.  With his powers over earthly substances he is able to travel freely throughout the ground without the need to reveal himself above surface.

Junicon

Specialties: Mass Regeneration, Soul Siphoning, Energy Control

D e s c r i p t i o n

One of the first Disciples of Hades encountered.  His powers and minions allow him to steal the full flesh of human faces for his own.  With these faces he survives using siphoned energies from the hosts.  This also allows him to coerce people not under his powers to believe him.  He explains that his rapidly changing face is merely a custom from where he comes from.

Zareon

Said to be half of Joel in his previous life, and someone Ryan highly looked up to.  Ryan seeks out to return Zareon to his full strength in hopes of helping him defeat the two strongest Guardians of them all.

Euzhacho

(E-u-zah-ko)

Said to be the second strongest Guardian of them all.  He is the Ice Guardian and uses the Murasame.  He is also one of the only two able to achieve the Slayer state.

Lyz

Said to be the strongest of all Guardians, and the Guardian of Order and Discord.  Her true name is unknown to all others as well as her choice of weaponry.  It is also said that she is unable to revert from her Slayer transformed state.

Hades

The dark property.  A creature that struggled with the gods long ago after mass destroying in a free-for-all frenzy through out the universe.  After defeating him and sealing him in five pieces of Hades armor.  The Guardians were created to prevent these pieces from coming back and reviving him.
