I think we will keep planting delphiniums in the garden every year.  They add a lot to the spring garden.

2003 - The plumeria bloomed all summer.  It didn't have a single bloom the two years before.  They have a wonderful scent.

This is larkspur and it does reseed in the garden.  We've recently gotten some other larkspur that has little bunny shapes in the flowers.  I'll have to get a photo of that one day.

Butterfly ginger is always a reliable plant in the south and almost everyone loves the fragrance.  This one is hedychium coronarium.

I believe this is Kahili ginger.  It is a yellow color, which is very attractive in the shade garden.  I always pick one to give to visitors so they can smell the wonderful fragrance.

This lovely flower is a peacock ginger.  It grows in the shade and has new blooms every day.  The botanical name is kaempferia laotica 'Brush Strokes'.

Mickey Mouse taro is not for everyone.  My mom thinks variegated plants look diseased, and this one even more so.  Some edges of the leaves look like plastic that is melted in a flame.
