of dark red roses are hard to get. The coloring usually looks wrong
or the colors bleed. I used slide film with saturated colors and
I like the way it came out. What do you think? Oh, yes, this
is the rose 'Eutin.'

this color bright enough for you? This is the rose 'Gypsy Dancer.'
If the color is too bright for you, wait a few days and it softens to a
pinker shade!

spring I take a photo of the rose 'Easy Going' and I always like the results.

been trying to get at least one good photo of each of the roses we have.
This is the floribunda 'Playboy.' It is a brightly colored repeat
bloomer.

'Black
Jade' is a miniature rose. The buds are a dark red, almost black.
The flowers are not quite as dark as the bud, but they are still beautiful.

One
of these days we will find the true name for this rose, but in the meantime
we will just enjoy its beautiful flowers. We call it Faux Kathleen.
