We were in the back room and we heard a loud thump in the living room.  When we went in there, we saw this impression on the glass.  A dove had hit the window and (sadly) died as a result.  I had to take a photo of the mark it left on the window.  Is this similar to a death mask.

In April 2002 Better Homes and Gardens photographed the garden for one of their special interest publications.  I took this photo early in the morning when there was still mist in the air.  I like its dreamy quality.
