In the recent years of alien conflicts, no other unit has earned the notorious reputation of the 167th Mechanized Infantry, otherwise known simply as "Lucky Strikes." The level of discipline and proficiency rivals that of even the hardiest military organization, and a long and distinguished record of service to the clan has secured the battalion an honored place in Clan Grimm lore. Having participated in many well known battles and infamous campaigns of alien extermination, Lucky Strikes have consistently upheld their namesake, out-producing, out-thinking, and out-gunning any opposition who have had the misfortune to be on their hit list. Utilizing stealth, guile, and even brute force when necessary, the 167th constantly strive to "Bring the pain" and ensure decisive, commanding victories over the enemies of humanity. Some of their more notable battles include: the invasion on Granite's World, known as "Normandy", the routing of alien forces from the Vega Sector, the Four Years War in the Humboldt Quadrant, the Battle of Glass Doors, in which an entire company of armor invaded an underground shopping mall, the Battle of the Aviary, the Battle of Christmas, in which Lucky Strikes were so eager to get home to celebrate Christmas that they burned an alien invasion force in four hours in high orbit, the Battle of Tandem, and most recently the Remote Campaigns, in the center of the Horsehead Nebula. The 167th Mech has perfected the art of the coordinated strike with elements of the 409th Mech, 808th Mech, and the 111th BioWeapons Battalion, and very frequently serves in a highly important support capacity as well. Just recently, the unit underwent a change of command, where a mysterious figure known as Painbringer was handed the badge of office by the clan's longtime leader The Disciple. While reason's for Disciple's departure are not entirly clear, it is known that a new specialized unit has formed with the Disciple at the helm. Lucky Strikes are not to be trifled with, and thanks to them, neither is Clan Grimm.
