This class is non-stop cardio from the warm-up to the cool-down (60 minutes).  This is for the participant that knows the basic STEP AEROBICS moves but is ready for more!!  Beginners are welcome but come ready to learn and sweat!!  The class ends with an abdominal workout and stretch!  1 hour.

This class is entirely on the stationary cycle.  Each participant is able to control their level of workload so it’s great for beginners.  This is a major cardio and leg workout!  Burn baby burn!  1 hour.

I’m gonna PUMP YOU UP!  After the cardio warm up you will hit all the major muscle groups in this conditioning class while strengthening your core.  This class builds both muscle endurance and muscle strength. Intervals of cardio may be included in this class format to work the heart!  The class will end with a nice recovery stretch.  1 hour.

This is an after school program offered only to the children at Kyrene Monte Vista Elementary School.  Although it is titled “Running Club”, we do a variety of cardio and toning drills and workouts.  We do relay team drills, soccer ball drills, 2-square ball drills, jump rope, obstacle course and have even done kickboxing!  Anything competitive seems to be the most popular!!  75 minutes.

10. Carrie makes it so much fun  with great music and her “Who’s Singing This” trivia game.
  9.  You’ll burn enough calories in 1 hour to burn off the donuts you ate the night before.  (We don’t  eat donuts, right?  Right.)
 8. There’s no choreography...you’ll always be going in the right direction!
  7. The room is dark and the music is loud, so no one will see you sweat or hear you groan.
  6. Where else can you get a great calorie-burning cardio workout while sitting down for most of the class?
  5. Setting up the bike is easier than you think… Carrie will show you how.
  4. Target sells inexpensive gel-cushioned bike seat covers (and you will want a cushioned seat, trust me).
  3. You don’t need special bike shoes or shorts, wear what you wear to step.
  2. You can fake the “hill climbs” by lowering the tension on the bike and just peddling at the same slow speed as Carrie. (I’ve given away my secret!)
