Today we're seeing more and more of our favorite shows released commercially on DVD and this is a fantastic trend that we support and want to see continue. But the fact remains that for every show released there are 500 others that will never see the light of day. There are a variety of reasons why some of our favorite older shows have not yet and may never be released commercially on DVD, such as copyright conflicts, complicated royalty issues, and most often lack of public interest to make it pay off. Collectortrading.com gives people who don't own shows to trade the option of purchasing copies with the understanding that if and when a commercial copy does become available we will no longer trade or sell said products.
