January 22, 2009 Meeting
Attended by: Sue LeQuatte (Lown),
Mary Sandberg (Seifried), Judy Anderson (Vogt), Sharon Adams (Koch),
Joyce Kloberdanz (Lattimer), Liz Harn (Mizner), Chuck Schuster, John Beecher
and Mike Hartz.
We are going to have some rooms blocked at the Casino Hotel and possibly the Ramada Inn downtown. Judy Anderson is checking on that. We will charge $6.00 for a booklet and also have a CD or "on-line" version available. Next letter will be sent out in March with a meeting on the 19th. We finalized the following dates:
Friday, July 24, 2009, we will meet at Friday 'Loo, in Lincoln Park in downtown Waterloo for music, refreshments, food - 5:30 - 9:00 (approx). Afterwards we will go to Elk's Club across the street to downstairs bar.
Saturday, July 25, 2009 will be at Elk's Club in downtown
Waterloo in newly remodeled front lobby - cocktails 6:00; meal at 7:00. Price
for both nights will be $35.00 per person.
A letter will be composed to mail and get everyone's (hopefully) information.
A few of the committee will meet to get addresses together, then all will meet
on Monday, Oct 13 to stuff and label envelopes at Mary
Sandberg's house, 230 Orange Rd, Waterloo.

July 16th, 2008 MeetingThese are the topics we discussed at the meeting:
First meeting to plan Columbus High Class of 1964 45th reunion was held on July
16, 2008 at L.J.'s in Waterloo.
It was attended by: Chuck Schuster, Mike Hartz, Joyce Lattimer (Kloberdanz),
Barb Scholl (Norte), Jane Couglin (O'Connell), Mary Hockemeyer (Simpson), Pat
Haats (Hoffman), Liz Harn (Mizner), Sharon Adams (Koch), Mary Sandberg (Seifried),
Sue LeQuatte (Lown). Good turnout!!
We have picked two dates - July 10 or July 24 - and final date will depend on
availability of place to hold event. It was decided by the group to have it be
a two day event and locations discussed were Isle of Capri, Supervisors Club,
Porky's Red Carpet. Mary is checking out these. Friday night will be in
conjunction with Friday 'Loo that is held in Lincoln Park in Waterloo on
different Fridays during the summer.
Jack Fellenzer had suggested that we try to save printing charges and put the
booklet on CD. There will be some printed for those not having computer
access. Those at the meeting thought this was a good idea. Jack also has
got the web site up and going and the progress of plans can be accessed there.
After we get a date, we will be doing the first mailing and hopefully will
have new and current e-mails for most people and will communicate that way in
the future as much as possible.
