The Eyes of Darkness are a force of Night Lords who resisted the turn to Chaos during the Horus Heresy. Over the millennia they have been forced to turn to piracy in order to survive. After discovering a Daemon Axe, Captain Astrum was driven insane by the beast, and began to openly worship Chaos. Some of the Sergeants resisted this change too, but others accepted it as inevitable. Eventually all the Sergeants were either won over to the dark side or met grisly ends at the hands of their own brothers. Now the Eyes of Darkness operate from a hidden base near the Eye of Terror, causing destruction wherever they go.
Chaos Space Marines Venom Lords Lord Sabriel, a.k.a. The Astrates-Slayer Sabrielthevenomlord
Aegies Sabriel was the chapter master of the Venom Lords chapter prior to the start of Abbadon's 13th crusade. The Venom lords turned to chaos when a radical inquisitor attempted to get the entire chapter possessed. Sabriel found out about these plans and stepped in, being possessed by a mighty Khorne daemon in the process. With blood and revenge on his and the chapters mind, the venom lords pursued the inquisition, being forced to battle numerous other SM forces and the Ordo Malleus's best on the way. They eventually threw in their lot with Abbadon, who awarded Sabriels prestigious might and tactical skill with 13 crazed defilers, and the two forged a great trust and alliance. To this day, the venom lords battle against the forces of what they see as an evil and corrupt empire, always with Sabriel at its head, and to destroy the inquisition utterly.

Gorathulous used to worship the powers of Chaos Undivided. The Axe of Khorne bestowed upon him the blessings of the War God, and began transforming him into a Demon Prince of Khorne. Now he bears a set of wings which bleed relentlessly unless he is killing in the name of Khorne. Many of his troops began to transform as well, but a good portion of his force still bears the colors of Undivided.

Following a astro-storm that sucked a Blood Angels transport into the warp, vet sarge Brother Belgarius could hear the forces of chaos calling to him, telling him the truths about the emperor. A year later the ship was boarded by a Black Legion capital ship, where the boarding parties found him alone amongst the mutilated corpses of several BA's, with the ship and his armor desecrated to the glory of chaos. He was accepted and inducted into the Black Legion. After a bloody career he now leads the warp ravagers from the front, his army featuring aspects from all the gods as this is his vision of true undivided, and anyone who disagrees or questions his tainted blood is swiftly dispatched via the souls of his former comrades that are imprisoned within his power sword, and are now pushed over the edge and are in a constant state of blood rage.

Encounters with The Warband of World Eaters under the Command of Michael VonWenzel have described them as having Viking and Samurai-like Qualities about them. Servo-Skulls that had been left intact displayed certain other characteristics about them. Squads tend to distinguish themselves by Coloration of their Melee Weapons. All Squads have Black Gloves/Gauntlets, and Ranged Weapons. It is obvious that much more effort is placed into their Melee Weapons, as is the case with most Khornate Warriors. Higher Ranking Officers have been seen wearing cloaks/pelts of some sort of unknown Demon. Let it also be noted that no two Aspiring Champions , outside of Squads of Chosen ever wear the same color cloak.

Glaath'nahs legion of Plague ridden daemonic persons are bestowed with the gift that they always become the first to inherit a new disease, infection etc from great father Nurgle as they have the great task to see how it makes people tick...They infiltrate, very skillfully for such large grotesque marines, and start to spread the contagion around...but also why they are so well armed cause they are also the first line of death guard attacks making sure the Plagues that were spread before hand do what they were told to do and consequently they get attack first off so aren't poorly armed for just infiltrators. Also they are very renowned for the work that a Greater Daemon named Syphagus always accompanies them into battle and coming out in he is needed to help fend off people trying to destroy the precious disease that Great Father Nurgle has gifted to the world...
