About our Soap
Our soap is made from 100% whole goat's milk (no cream removed, no water or powdered milk added) collected fresh daily from goats on our farm by a certified herbalist. Our goats are treated kindly and are on all natural and herbal products for healthy, wholesome milk. The milk we use to make our soaps from is leftover drinking milk...food quality milk that we feed our own family. Health conscious consumers who feel good skin care is essential for overall health will appreciate our natural soaps.

Our soap is cold processed, in small controlled batches, to bring you a higher quality bar of soap with a nice, rich lather. We use the highest quality ingredients available including food grade olive oil, safflower oil, canola oil, vegetable shortening, aloe vera juice, glycerine, vitamin E, sodium hydroxide, sugar, and essential or fragrance oils.

Because our 100% biodegradable soap is handcrafted, each bar is unique. We do not mill, press or use melt and pour glycerine for our soap base. It is made 100% from "scratch."

We do not use artificial colors in our soaps. Contentment Acres Soaps are a beautiful, natural color that provide a creamy, lotion like lather. It's handcut and kept as simple as possible to keep prices down. People give our soaps as gifts and they are popular with Civil War re-enactments and colonial time period functions for their basic look.

Since our family using this soap, our skin is softer and younger looking with a healthy glow. We had no idea how drying the commercial soaps were until we started using our own goat's milk soap. We wanted to make it available to others for a reasonable price, which is how this page came to be.

Bars may be round or rectangular. We are switching from round molds to rectangular ones a little at a time.

Blemish Away Soap with Tea Tree Oil-unscented with extra cream and aloe and a full 2 fluid ounces of high quality tree tea oil. This soap makes a great gift for teens or adults with problem skin and those covered in insect bites!

Juniper Sage-a very popular fragrance with men and women. This soap is teen approved. I started making this soap for my teenaged son because he was tired of finding lavender soap in the bathroom. Popular with men and women. SOLD OUT!! will make more in the fall.

Lilac w/ Extra Cream-has a lovely fragrance. It makes a nice gift for women or smells pretty in the soap dish by the bathroom sink. Another customer favorite!

Rose-wonderful fragrance, ladies love it. Great gift for wives, mothers, grandparents, girlfriends and daughters. SOLD OUT!! will make more in the fall.

Pet Soap (for dogs, cats, rabbits, etc) This is the same as Just What the Doctor Ordered. It is gentle and helps with dry skin conditions without harming their coat. Great for the hairless breeds of dogs, cats and guinea pigs.

Outdoor Soap this soap is made for outdoor activities like camping, hiking, canoeing, birdwatching, cookouts and more. We keep this in our RV for camping trips. Contains citronella, nepetalactone (concentrated catnip), lavender, and black pepper essential oil with a generous helping of nepetalactone which is supposed to repel better than Deet.

NEW! Honey Suckle was made by Amanda, our 12 year old daughter. It has a light scent of honeysuckle and reminds you of summer fun. Amanda tithes 10% and dedicates 50% of what she earns for her future.

Milk and Honey This is one of our most popular for it's extra moisturizers. It contains 2 full cups of cream and a light almond vanilla fragrance. One of our best sellers! SOLD OUT!! will make more in the fall.

Oatmeal and Cream for sensitive skin made per request for special skin condition. Contains 1 full cup of oatmeal, honey, cream and has an almond vanilla fragrance that is a little stronger than some of our other scents. Yummy fragrance!

Ocean Rain this is a crisp, clean, fresh scent that is great for men or women. Our teenage son loves it. Nice scent a bit stronger than our other soaps. Scent level is about what you'd find in a deodorant soap.Very popular. SOLD OUT!! will make more in the fall.

Chocolate Delight smells good enough to eat! Perfect gift for chocolate lovers, Valentine's Day, Valentine's Day parties, women friends, romantic bubblebaths, etc! Made with 1 cup of Hershey's Cocoa powder and a divine chocolate fragrance oil. Everyone who has smelled it has wanted to take a bite out of it. Wrap it in aluminum foil and place a fancy heart sticker on it for a great Valentine's Day gift. Lather is a very light tan, does not stain skin. Brown on wash cloth rinses out. Smells awesome! If you live locally and would like to pick up your soap order, you are welcome to do so. There is no charge for this and it will save your shipping costs. This is done by appointment only to preserve our family time.

Because we are a Christian family, we believe in donating to worthy causes. A percentage of all of our sales (at least 10%) goes to well-known charities. We also donate many bars of soap as a ministry to others. You can feel extra good about your purchase knowing when you shop with us, it blesses others!

We are so proud of our handcrafted goat's milk soap and are so confident that you will like it, we will refund your purchase price if you are not satisfied with our soap. If you are not 100% satisfied, please contact us immediately. We will ask you to return the soap within 2 weeks of receipt date and we will credit your account for the full amount of the product. We will do everything we can to correct any mistakes on our part. We will not accept returns, if you have not contacted us first. We promise to do everything we can to make things right.
