I work in a Unity Prayer Tower where we accept requests and send out letters and pamphlets of support. One of my favorites is Adventuring in Faith. Here is part of the Truth that it shares:

Faith always leads to the opportunity to live a life of courage and action. Faith is often a daring leap into the unknown, but we can take the leap with assurance because we trust God to direct and support us.

Men of all ages have been called upon to express more faith than they possessed at any given time. "By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place which he was to receive as an inheritance; and he went out, not knowing where he was to go."

Even in the profoundest faith there is often an element of "not knowing" where we are to go or what we are to do. But when we have the conviction and confidence to make a start, all the power of almighty God attends our efforts and we, as did Abraham, arrive in "the land of promise" which God makes ready for us.

The Bible tells us "Faith without works is dead." That means that when we truly have faith, we take action - and that action serves to increase our faith and prompt us to greater action.

At the San Diego Center for Spiritual Living, we are Adventuring in Faith. We have taken a daring leap with assurance and trust, with conviction and confidence, as we live the vision we have been called to express. Through our active faith, commitment, enthusiasm and openness to BE this Idea of God, we have been blessed with a continuing stream of everyday miracles for which are infinitely grateful.
