I have much more to say to you, but I don’t want to do it with paper and ink. For I hope to visit
you soon and talk with you face to face. Then our joy will be complete.
     2 John 1:12

Then Jesus declared, "I am the bread of life. He who comes to me will never go hungry,
and he who believes in me will never be thirsty."
     John 6:35

I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign LORD;
       I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone.
Since my youth, O God, you have taught me,
       and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds.
     Psalm 71:16-17

Hear my cry, O God; Give heed to my prayer. From the end of the earth I call to You when my heart is faint;
         Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a refuge for me,
         A tower of strength against the enemy. Let me dwell in Your tent forever;
     Psalm 61:1-4a

"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you
and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.
For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."
     Matthew 11:28-30

Honor the wonderful name
of the LORD, and worship the LORD most holy and glorious.
The voice of the LORD echoes over the oceans. The glorious LORD God thunders above the roar
of the raging sea, and his voice is mighty and marvelous.
     Psalm 29:2-4

I pray that you may be active in sharing your faith, so that you will have a full understanding of every
good thing we have in Christ. Your love has given me great joy and encouragement, because you, brother,
have refreshed the hearts of the saints.
Philemon 1:6-7

Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them,
to accept his lot and be happy in his work—this is a gift of God. He seldom reflects on the days of his life,
because God keeps him occupied with gladness of heart.
Ecclesiastes 5:19-20

As Jesus walked beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and his brother Andrew casting a net into the lake,
for they were fishermen. "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men."
At once they left their nets and followed him.
Mark 1:16-18

Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds.
 Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the ocean depths.
Psalm 36:5-6b

But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles.
   They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31

Make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business and to work with your hands,
just as we told you, so that your daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that
you will not be dependent on anybody.
      1 Thessalonians 4:11-12

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me; the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on the day of his return.
And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his appearing.
2 Timothy 4:7-8
