The Making of the Giant Margarita Glass
 
 
I started with a plastic bird bath and 
tipped it over.
 
Next,  I attached a board on the top of the 
stem of the bird bath. 
 
I shaped chicken wire around the edges of the

board careful to keep the center
hollowed out.
 
Next, I began the paper mache careful to not apply to

much at one time because the chicken wire collapses due
 to the weight of the wet paper.
 
More paper, flour and water!
 
More paper, flour and water!
 
Again.......More paper, flour and water!
 
 Next, I painted the glass with Margarita color paint.
I then cut 2 pieces of foam in the shape of two shark fins, painted them and attached them upright to a
large piece of foam.

I wired and mounted a 12VDC gear motor
in the center of the Margarita glass.

I attached a 12VDC battery and
the fins spin around in the 
Margarita glass for hours!

The lime is made out of floral oasis
which was painted lime green!
