The wiring diagrams in the Corvair shop manual are small and therefore difficult to read. The purpose of the diagrams offered here is to make it easier to troubleshoot electrical problems. The diagrams are shown in color for each wiring harness. For further clearity, individual circuits are also shown. These diagrams are available in three different formats. The first is a web browser based format. This allows you to quickly trace a particular circuit in a harness. The other two formats are GIF and PDF. The GIF files are intended to be printed from an external graphic program, such as "Microsoft Photo Editor." Most of these programs will fit the image to fit on a single page. The PDF files require Adobe Acrobat Viewer, which is available for free on the internet. These files are very large so that the details of the diagrams can easily be seen. These files can also be printed out in poster size.
1966 Diagrams Now Available!
Currently diagrams are available for 1964, 1965 and 1966 Corvairs. The 1964 CD includes the diagrams for the car as well as Forward Control trucks. Sample diagrams can be seen HERE.
