A Prayer for Our Troops

Dear Heavenly Father, as our troops are in the mist of battle, keep your arms around them. Protect their hearts from what their eyes may see. Dear Lord, give our troops the strength to press on, the courage to carry out their mission and wisdom to the leaders that make the decisions for them. O God just comfort all the wives, the husbands and the children who's hearts are troubled for the safety of their loved ones. For it is times like this we can not lean to our own understanding, but should look to you O God. O God I know that you will be like a beacon of light, I just pray that like a lost ship in the sea, those lost souls will follow your light to safety. In your son's name and for his sake we pray.
