I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. My goal is to deliver your yacht to your designated port safely and at a reasonable price.
Services
I will deliver your power yacht anywhere on the East Coast, Gulf Coast and Inland waterways. Yacht deliveries can include operational training en-route for the owner and/or family members or passengers if desired. You may rest assured that we do not take unsafe shortcuts or tempt poor weather to save an hour or a day. You should expect delivery of a clean, undamaged yacht. I will provide daily progress reports by phone to the owner if desired and repairs will be authorized by the owner before being performed by a qualified mechanic. It is the intention of the captain to travel 6 to 8 hours a day with 1 to 2 hours with refueling, minor maintenance and preparation for next day’s cruise.
Fees and Expenses
My average fee is $300.00 per day for the Captain and $150.00 per day for one crewman, plus meals for the duration of the trip. All travel expenses involved with reaching the pickup point and returning home from destination point for two people will be at the expense of the yacht owner. The yacht owner will also be responsible for Yacht delivery expenses such as, but not limited to fuel, dockage, repairs and towing if needed.
Requirements of the Yacht Owner
Owners are expected to supply all Coast Guard required safety equipment which will be inspected by the captain before departure.
The Captain will declare the vessel unseaworthy if contraband or drugs are found aboard. I will remove myself and crew from the vessel until such items are removed from the vessel.
You should confirm with your insurer that you and the vessel are fully covered while under our command. Some carriers require a minimum number of crew and/or restricted hours of operation. I can work with you and your carrier to resolve problems of this nature. I will need written confirmation that your insurance is in full force for the duration of the voyage. This document, along with your boat registration or documentation papers must be on board during the trip.
