Okay, it was a trick question - so sue me!

Well, in 1974, the San Diego Padres almost moved to Washington D.C. The timing required that these baseball cards be printed before the new name of the team had been decided upon (had it actually moved). Since the team didn't end up moving, most of these cards got recalled, but my boss had these in his collection.

Really strange. I mean you have the city they didn't move to, Washington, on the banner; no team name, just NL; and a mix of "San Diego" and "Padres" uniform styles. (Okay, and one Cubs uniform!).
