Clay's Guitar
I play acoustic guitar. I used to
also play banjo, mandolin, and fiddle. When I was in college I played
bluegrass semi-professionally (which I define as: performing for money,
but not enough to make a living at it) around southwestern Virginia.
The more I played "professionally", the less I liked it.
I smelled a future of dark, dank, decrepit bars, drunk audiences, and
life on the road so I gave it up.
Now I just play guitar, and just for fun. I fool around with bluegrass, folk, blues, or most anything that strikes my fancy.
This picture is a self-portrait, taken in an odd moment when I was feeling artsy. (Good thing I kept my day job.)
