PLEASE READ

Safe boating will be observed at all times.

Functional aerating live well/pumps or aerated cooler systems are recommended.

Tournament water 635-acre Beaverdam Lake. No bank fishing. NO fishing next to the ramp.

Participants must launch at Rt 616 ramp. WEIGH-IN AT THE RT616 RAMP ONLY.

All fish weighed must be released.

Participant’s boat must be left in the water until their fish have been removed. Any fish taken from boats that have been removed from the water will be disqualified.

There will be no culling at the ramp.

Participants weighing in fish caught by someone else will be disqualified.

There will be a 4-ounce penalty for each dead fish presented at the scales.

All participants must be at the check-in station by 3:00 PM for weigh in, with no weigh-ins accepted before 12 noon. No late check-ins will be permitted.

All protests must be submitted in writing to the Tournament Director within 30 minutes after closing the scales.

Only two (2) participants per boat.

No live bait will be allowed. Artificial lures and pork rind will be permitted.

Use of electric motors only. All portable gas cans must be left ashore.

All participants must have a valid Virginia or Gloucester County freshwater fishing license on their person during the event.

As a courtesy, participants are not to come within a normal casting distance of another participant, excluding start and weigh-in.

All participants must observe and obey all lake restrictions and boundaries.

No underwater video equipment will be permitted during tournament hours.

Assumption of Risk/Release

In agreeing to participate in the program, as an adult participant or as a parent/guardian of a participant, I and/or the participant do hereby affirm that the general health of the participant is good and that the participant is not adversely affected by exercise and that the participant is capable of performing an activity of this nature. 
In consideration of participation in this activity, I and/or the participant do hereby assume all risk of any injury to the participant and will indemnify and hold harmless, from any and all liability, action, cause of actions, claims and demands of every kind of nature whatsoever that I and/or the participant have or which arise of on in connection with my participation in this activity, the County of Gloucester, Virginia, the Gloucester Board of Supervisors, the Gloucester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism, the Gloucester County School Board, an all their officers, agents, employees, staff, volunteers and successors. 
It is like wise assumed and agreed that the participant will wear proper clothing and protective equipment during the activity and that it is the responsibility of the participant or parent/guardian to make sure the criteria is met. I grant permission to transport the participant to and from the event when required and hold harmless those assigned to transport, I also agree to allow transportation of the participant to the nearest physician or hospital of medical treatment, and agree to allow for immediate first aid to the injured participant when deemed necessary.
