FLYING FISH

One of the most exciting rides in the park.  You would begin on a slow
crawl up the chain driven incline, with the racheting sound reminding
you of the frightening plunge that you were about to experience.  


Preparing for "TAKE-OFF"...


Several near vertical drops would leave your heart in your throat as
the fish-shaped car flew around the old steel track.  Many young
riders would promise their parents that they would stay off this
great ride, but as soon as Mom or Dad were out of sight, the allure
of the Flying Fish would be too strong.

This was probably the most popular ride in the park during the 1960s
and 1970s...Also, my personal favorite.
