SCRAMBLER & TILT-A-WHIRL

These two rides have been grouped together because of their proximity
in the park.  Most riders wouldn't go on one without trying the other.

The Tilt-A-Whirl had red-hooded cars that spun on an axis while
going up and down on the circular inclines.  This was a ride that
caused many upset stomachs.  I can still hear my cousin yelling
at me "Don't spin the car!"

The Scrambler was faster, but less volatile.  Several cars on each
arm spun on a smaller orbit, while the entire ride rotated.  There
was much speed, but on an even plane.  This was a favorite on hot
days...Can't you feel the wind rushing through your hair?

Back to the MIDWAY!!
