SHORE DINNER HALL
If you never experienced the chowder and clam cakes at the Crescent Park
Shore Dinner Hall, then you missed out on a divine treat that was enjoyed
by millions of New Englanders for nearly a century.
Doesn't this make your mouth water???
New England and the shore dinner were already associated in the minds of
the tourists well before Crescent Park first opened in 1886. Lobsters,
steamer clams, quahogs, potatoes, sweet corn, and all the fixins were
plentiful. After a glorious day of amusement, the park patron could
stroll across Bullocks Point Avenue for a memorable Shore Dinner.
Remember prices like these???
