THE FIELD BOX FROM HELL! |

| I was browsing the internet forum known as the
RC
Universe. If it has to do with RC, you can find it
here. Almost every subject is covered and if not, you can post a
question of your own and virtually within minutes you can get answers. Well I ran across this forum thread entitled "THE FIELD BOX FROM HELL! aka The Ultimate Field box!" by Billy Hell. I don't think Billy knew what he was starting, but 17 pages, and 332 posts (and still counting!), this thread is still going strong. When I saw the field box Billy had created, I knew I had to have one. I was carrying so much flight support gear to the field, that I barely had room for my planes. I was carrying my aircraft rack that holds two fuselages and two sets of wings. A portable 12volt jump starter to run my Astro Flight 110D battery charger and fan powered battery cooling box. My Great Planes Master Caddy Field Box with Auxiliary Power Unit. And finally a wood tool chest to carry my tachometer, voltmeter, Whatt-Meter, and other support tools and equipment. Seemed like I spent more time loading and unloading than flying. So I needed a box that would carry all these items with room to spare. |
