He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jerry in 1972.
He is survived by their sons, Rick and Keith Courtney and daughter, Jane Moore.
He is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Anne and
her children, sons Mark and John Frieske and daughter, Cheryl Reilly
 He leaves behind numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren from both marriages.

He is also survived by his sister, Hellen Penna of Brielle, New Jersey.
