During the recent safety inspection, the inspector commented that one of the van's brake pads was too thin to pass. The easy way out was to pay the shop $100+ USD. Considering a set of top brake pads cost less than $30 USD, it seemed worth the $70+ to do it ourselves as well as having some quality father/daughter time. |
