The Gadabouts

Chuck Bené began performing professionally while still a teenager in the late 50's, joining the musician's union when he was 16 years old.  His recordings have become international collectors items and are still played and sold worldwide.  While living in the New York metro area, he performed in shows with such artists as Frankie Lyman and the Teenagers, The Skyliners, Gene Pitney and Del Shannon.  During the mid-60's he wrote songs for Rick Nelson and the Hullabaloo TV Show.  He played guitar on numerous recordings and worked with the team of Leiber & Stoller.  He now performs playing guitar, bass, banjo and a keyboard sequencer.  He is also singing, writing, arranging and producing.  In 2003 he was inducted into the Rockabilly Hall Of Fame.

Denny Miccolis grew up in Chicago and was the original keyboard player for The Buckinghams.  That band had many top-ten hits during the late 60's including their number one hit, "Kind Of A Drag", "Don't You Care", and "Hey Baby, They're Playing Our Song".  The Buckinghams appeared in shows and stadiums with the Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Turtles and many other acts.  They appeared on Dick Clark's American Bandstand and the Ed Sullivan Show, to mention a few.  You can still hear Denny perform those songs.  He is a multi-talented keyboard player and vocalist singing lead and backup.

Pam Nelson  from St. Paul, MN has led her own band, "Pam Nelson and Sedona Crossing" for many years performing for many corporate functions and shows.  She has also performed throughout some of Arizona's most prestigious resorts including the Scottsdale Princess, the Phoenician, The Pointe Tapitio Cliffs, Wescort in the Buttes, just to name a few.  In 2000, she performed at Bank One Ballpark (now known as Chase Field) singing the National Anthem.  She also performed  for the City of Glendale's 4th of July celebration.  Pam Nelson's vocal range and ability allows her to perform a variety of material from country to R&B.  Along with singing lead & backup vocals, Pam plays rhythm guitar & flute.

Al Beasley is a multi-talented musician who sings and plays drums, guitar and bass.  He began performing while a teenager in his native Alaska playing at military bases throughout the state.  While playing with the Louie Green Band in 1990, they became the first country band to perform in Siberia, USSR.  Al has played for such artists as Charlie Rich, Tiffany and Frankie Griffiths and has opened for Exile, Anne Murray and comedian Soupy Sales.   Al has also performed the National Anthem for the Chicago Cubs, the Colorado Rockies, and the Arizona Diamondbacks.

NJ Guitar Connection

NJ Guitar Connection features the acoustic sound of two guitars.  Ed Doyle, playing his Peal JC-Cedar and Chuck Bené, playing his Peal SC-Solid Top are both New Jersey natives who met in Arizona and have since clicked together in a variety of musical genres.  When subtle and tasteful music is required for any event, then the NJ Guitar Connection is available to perform.  You might hear such tunes as "If I Had You", "Blue Bayou", "Our Love Is Here To Stay", "That’s Amore" and hundreds more.  A bass player and a drummer adding some tasteful brushwork complements the duo for a program that will have you smiling and singing along to all the tunes that you've come to know and love over the years.

Plan B

PlanB specializes in playing tasteful interpretations of both pop, and "recognizable" jazz standards, reveling in the performance of what the late jazz guitarist, Joe Pass, called..."The great songs of our American heritage".  Porter, Gershwin, VanHeusen, Arlen, Kern, and company would be proud that their elegant legacy is maintained by this versatile group of musicians.  The group brings to the bandstand a depth of musical experience which translates into a voluminous number of tunes, unique harmonic/melodic styling, and something which every member of  the group shares;  an absolute joy of performing.
