I had ignored my body for almost a decade until I realized that I was beginning to avoid activities I love due to minor pains or the fear of those pains. My work with Caryl put me back on a path to a much more enjoyable and balanced state.
Caryl is a remarkable caring and intuitive trainer who understands how the body links to other aspects of life. Her innovative combination of yoga, dance and her personal intuition creates powerful and unique custom solutions that assist in personal transformations. Andy Snider, President Snider Associates
Caryl's Vinyasa yoga classes are unique. She is an immensely talented instructor, guiding students through postures and movements with precision and ease. She has an exquisite sensitivity to the needs of her students, and her strong knowledge base as a Movement Therapist and dancer allow her to modify the content of class to accommodate individual abilities.
Every class provides opportunities for growth, challenge, and renewed physical and mental energy. Her focused approach and insights are extremely helpful. Caryl is unfailingly positive and open in her teaching. She possesses the glow of health, and a rare inner strength and peace which she shares.Rose Bigsby, Brown Medical School
At age 67, I had a variety of issues that interfered with the quality of my life. Caryl with her unique ability to integrate different disciplines (yoga, Pilates, Alexander Technique, etc.), has developed a program that incorporates stretching, strength training, and meditative relaxation techniques.
After only a few months I see a vast improvement in my posture, energy level, general well being and ability to do things previously difficult and painful or impossible. My work with her has increased my range of motion and strength, and improved my life in general.Bonnie Cohen, Private Client
Caryl's class opened my life, my options. I can move in ways I could not move before. I have more energy and my asthma no longer bothers me. I can breathe freely.Karen Edwards, Group Student
I am thrilled to hear that Caryl Sickul is also working in hospitals teaching dance meditation and yoga. I have been her student for almost two years, and have done dance and yoga with others before. I am a breast cancer survivor. Eva Sommaripa, Master Organic Gardener
Caryl Sickul's yoga classes are the best I have ever had. She explains movement in many different ways. There is constant encouragement to go to a safe, but challenging, level. The all encompassing discipline of yoga asks that you concentrate on all facets of yourself right down to the very important breath. You achieve a complete workout with your body totally involved.
Caryl adjusts every stretch to everyone's greatest ability. She encourages everyone to go a little further with a movement, only if it feels right. I applaud Caryl's method of teaching yoga and truly appreciate her teaching techniques.

Participants in the Nancy Brayton Osborn Adult Day Center have responded enthusiastically to Movement Therapy with Caryl. Each person's strength is identified and capitalized on so all can participate in improving
breathing, relaxation, movement, rhythm along with verbal and tactile interaction.
It is gratifying to see frail elders and those with
challenges express themselves in laughter, movement, touch and verbal expression.
