The CHEA Statement of Purpose explains their philosophy in more detail.
CHEA publishes a newsletter, Hearth Notes, a fine resource guide, and holds conferences on occasion. CHEA is more focused on the various regional groups that gather under their larger umbrella. Various special events are arranged by the regional groups which cover the state.
To support the Connecticut Home Educators Association and receive a year’s subscription to Hearth Notes (6 issues) and a CHEA membership list, please mail your check for $20 (or whatever you can afford), made payable to CHEA, to: Dale Schneider 10 Ellen Lane Deep River, CT 06417. Please allow three weeks for delivery of your first issue of Hearth Notes.
